Our hearts and prayers go out to Ken Simmons in the loss of his Mother, Cora Simmons.

Please invite all of your friends, neighbors and relatives to our Vacation Bible School this
month. It will run Tuesday through Friday, the 27th - 30th, from 7pm to 8:30pm each evening.
REFRESHMENTS NEEDED:
We will be serving cookies and beverages on the last evening of VBS, Friday the 30th, if you
would like to help, please sign up on the sheet posted on the board. We are asking each

Church. Hosted by the Portage Church of Christ on August 7th, 9:30 - 2:00pm. Please

SHULTS - LEWIS REQUEST:
The Children's Home is in desperate need of paper towels. Gerald Frump will be here in the
next week or two to pick up whatever we can collect in that time. If you can donate paper
towels please put them in the boxes in the coatroom.
NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We are in need of volunteers to tend the nursery on Sunday mornings during
worship hour. There is a speaker installed in the nursery so that you will be able
to hear the entire lesson. This is not a long term commitment like teaching a class,
you can sign up for just one Sunday every quarter, and you may pick the date.
The sign up sheet is on the board in the foyer.
BIBLE HOUR TEACHER NEEDED:
We need a volunteer or two to teach the Sunday morning Bible Hour Class, 1st grade
thru 5th grade students, during our Worship Service. If you can help with this for even a
few weeks, to give our current teacher a break, it would be most appreciated.
OPEN HOUSE:
Everyone is invited to Adam Berger's Open House, Saturday, July 24th, 2-6pm.
Directions are posted on the bulletin board, please see Kris if you need a map.
HOT COCOA DONATIONS:
We are in need of Hot Cocoa donations for Sunday Mornings, you may drop
them in either office, thanks!
SHOEBOX DONATIONS:
Only 3 months until the shoeboxes are shipped out! We are in desperate
need of the travel size toothpaste. Back To School Supply Sales have already
begun so be sure to watch for those and take advantage of the items you can
get at great discounted prices. And of course we always need shoe boxes!
